Sanyo has just announced the new & latest Xacti DMX-CA100 (aka VPC-CA100), its first waterproof Full HD dual camera that is idyllic for any kind of outdoor activities. Like other Xacti Dual Cameras, the CA100 does both photo shooting & video recording.
Sanyo’s DMX-CA100 is prepared with a 14.4 Megapixel CMOS image sensor for capturing Full HD 1920×1080 video at 60/fps in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format & 14 Megapixel still images. It features a 5x optical zoom lens with Double Range Zoom extending zoom range to 12x, the “High-Speed Sequential Shooting” function for capturing up to 22 photos at 7fps, Digital Image Stabilizer & Face Chaser Function for together videos & photos, and ISO 1600.
This waterproof Full HD camcorder comes with included stereo microphone, a 2.7-inch LCD display, AV output, Mini HDMI output, SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot with Eye-Fi capability & USB 2.0 connector. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA100 will be released in June in Yellow, Black & Pink colors.
