During a Financial Analyst Meeting, Microsoft’s Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner exposed that the company would be releasing a beta version of Internet Explorer 9 in September 2010. Others are hinting at September 2nd for the specific release date.
The images above & below are from Chinese website cnBeta who claim these are screenshots of IE9. The images show the browsers new Chrome like “Popular Sites” page, as well as the new & latest Download Manager. While the screenshots show a UI apparently the same as IE8, many have reported that the browser will indeed get a full facelift before its official release.
We’ll keep you posted, as always, when more information about the beta of IE 9 is exposed.
