Apple has just released a free update for iBooks as a iOS 4.0 Tested universal update. iBooks 1.1.1 brings a number of fixes & improvements including multimedia enhancements such as the way in which you interrelate with audio & videos embedded in iBooks.
There have also been many overall performance enhancements made to the whole apps & especially the PDF features. You can get the update & latest release of iBooks now from iTunes or the App Store.
