TomTom announced the new & latest XL 350 & XXL 550 series portable GPS navigation devices. All models from both ranges feature the company’s new EasyMenu UI offering “sharp graphics & a simple touchscreen menu that provides immediate access to search tools so that users can get started towards their destination even faster”.
The XL 350 series comes with 4.3-inch touchscreen whilst the XXL 550 has 5-inch touchscreen. They contain the IQ Routes Technology for efficient routing, TomTom Map Share for community shared map improvements, over 7 million points of interest, advanced lane assistance & preloaded premium maps of the US/Canada/Mexico from Tele Atlas.
The XL 350M, XL 350TM, XXL 550M & XXL 550TM models will come with Lifetime Map Updates & the XL 350T, XL 350TM, XXL 550 T, XXL 550 TM gets Lifetime Traffic Updates. The XL 350 & XXL 550 start at $160 & will be released in late May 2010.
