Spring Design finally ships its Alex Android-based dual-screen e-book reading device. The Alex features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display for Android OS & a 6-inch 600×800 e-ink display for e-book reading. It is power-driven by a 624MHz PXA303 processor & has 256MB RAM & 2GB internal flash memory.
The Spring Design Alex supports WiFi 802.11b/g & USB 2.0 connection. It uses 2.5mm audio jack, though. It is available in charcoal & white for $399 & comes with a defensive cover, earphone, USB cable.
